Wine &
Dine Santa Barbara is a quarterly magazine
that aims to highlight the best places to find
awesome wine and great food in Santa Barbara
County.
We could write
about wine and food so that only the snootiest
of oenophiles and most highbrowed of foodies
understand it. But we leave that to our competition.
And we could charge for our publication. But
we don’t. We, as hungry and thirsty lovers
of the culinary wealth that Santa Barbara has
to offer, would rather present news, reviews
and points of view in down-to-earth and user-friendly
fashion.
The
ads in our magazine are more than mere necessity.
Sure, we need sponsors to help keep Wine
& Dine a no-cost publication. But truth
be told, the publishers and editors of this
magazine are avid fans and frequent patrons
of each of the restaurants, wineries and businesses
featured in our magazine. If we didn’t
believe in the caliber and commitment of the
business owners we partner with to put out Wine
& Dine each quarter, they wouldn’t
grace our pages. Simple as that.
We are proud
to point out that Wine & Dine is
a family endeavor. The publishers, the Isings
and the Saglies, are two families brought together
by marriage (not to mention an uncanny mutual
love for anything that tastes good and makes
people come together around the dinner table).
And the editor, Gabe Saglie, has spent much
of his journalism career in TV, radio and print
highlighting the vintners and chefs of California’s
Central Coast (despite the extra pounds, which
he calls “research collateral”).
So we thank you

our business partners. There’s plenty
of amazing food and wine to go around in Santa
